We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any part returned to us and found to be defective through manufacturing within the first year of the original purchaser’s ownership (except consumable items like belts, blades, bearings and clutch). The engine is covered under warranty directly with the engine manufacturer.

The MechMaxx 1440GV Industrial Metal Lathe is a powerful precision machining system designed for professional workshops, gunsmiths, fabrication shops, and industrial machining environments. With a large 14" swing over bed and 40" distance between centers, this heavy-duty lathe is capable of handling long shafts, large stock, and precision turning operations with excellent stability and control.
Equipped with a 3 HP copper-core AC motor and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), the 1440GV provides infinitely adjustable spindle speeds ranging from 40–1800 RPM. This allows machinists to precisely match spindle speed to different materials and cutting conditions, improving finish quality and machining efficiency.
The lathe features a large 2" spindle bore that allows longer material to pass through the headstock, making it especially well suited for gunsmithing work and machining larger diameter stock. A built-in 2-axis digital readout (DRO) provides accurate real-time positioning on the carriage and cross slide, improving precision and repeatability for professional machining tasks.
